Position Summary:
This position is part of the Finance & Administration department and is a member of Donor Services. Major responsibilities of this position are to assist the Donor Services Coordinators (DSC) in receipting envelopes, processing deposits, researching agencies for compliance and any other assistance as defined for both Donor Services and the Finance & Administration department.
Position Responsibilities:
• Receive and confirm (sign off) pledge envelopes received.
• Assist DSC with processing deposits from campaign report envelopes.
• Research and verify agency codes for pledge cards being outsourced.
• Assist Donor Services Coordinator with write-in agencies.
• Process agency certifications.
• Assist Donor Services Processor with processing pledge payments in ANDAR.
• Review and make corrections as necessary to donor biographical information.
• Assist in keeping donor database accurate by reviewing and updating information as necessary.
• Frequent contact with Fundraising staff and Loaned Executives during campaign.
• Assist other department team members with projects as needed.
• Assist with establishing and meeting priorities in data entry workflow.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Education: High School graduate. Some college helpful.
• Three plus years progressive experience working in an office environment that involved extensive use of word processing/database use and multiple project work.
• Counting currency experience desired.
• Must possess good analytical ability.
• Motivated self-starter with lots of initiative and minimal supervision.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop good working relationships with staff, volunteers and vendors.
• Must possess a “can do” attitude and willingness to do what is required to get job done.
• Must work well as part of a team and promote and support the goals of the organization.
Technical Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Demonstrated proficiency in Outlook.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to use the internet to research and find information necessary to accomplish tasks.
• Demonstrated and proven comfort level with learning new software applications as necessary.
Other Requirements:
• Ability to work hours outside the standard 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM timeframe and to travel, if necessary.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and daily access to personal vehicle.
