Other: Fulltime, Eligible for benefits, Salary $43,000-$48,700

 

Position Summary:  The person in this position is a member of the Resource Development Leadership Team and is responsible for the development, management, implementation and execution of defined programs that support the overall campaign and department. This includes a heavy emphasis on internal and external training.

 

Summary of Responsibilities:
•Responsible for all phases of programs as defined for Resource Development.
•Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated programs to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
•Establish goals and strategies for all programs defined.
•Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
•Responsible for overall quality and management of major projects or programs.
•Defines and is responsible for implementing and conducting internal and external training for all programs.
•Supervises staff (direct and/or indirect) as necessary.
•Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
•Oversee program budgets and ensures financial accountability.
•Establishes operating procedures for all programs and Ensures procedures meet program effectiveness.
•Participating member of department leadership team.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree and four plus years of related experience in a fast paced business environment.
oThe right combination of education and/or relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirements.
•Knowledge of proven fundraising strategies.
•Non-profit experience highly desired.
•Prior learning and development experience essential, to include all phases from conception through development and execution of individual, team and external training.
•Prior supervisory experience.
•Demonstrated facilitation skills.
•Comfortable and fluent in a variety of social situations.
•Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
•Excellent presentation and communication skills.
•Demonstrated skills of creativity, resourcefulness and strategic thinking.

Technical Knowledge Requirements:
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Ability to learn and use systems as required by organization.
•Ability to use the Internet and have a proven comfort level with learning new software applications as necessary.

Other Requirements:
•Ability to work hours outside the standard 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM timeframe and to travel, if necessary.
•Valid Arizona driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and daily access to personal vehicle.
