Other: Full-Time, non-exempt, not eligible for benefits. Position is temporary (June-December, 2011)

Position Summary:

To be a valuable member of the Resource Development team by providing a wide range of administrative support to Loaned Executives, which contributes to the optimal functioning of the Loaned Executive Program and to the success of the Valley of the Sun United Way (VSUW) Campaign.

Loaned Executive Assistant Key duties:

* Provide administrative support to a team of thirty Loaned Executives.
* Guide and assist Loaned Executives in the proper use of all systems (CRM, MS Office, MS Outlook, Telephones, Voicemail, etc.) related to their position.)
* Prioritize work to meet the requirements of the campaign activities and timetable.
Initiate and respond to inquiries from Loaned Executives and staff. Interact with VSUW support staff as required.
Transcribe and input numerous communications including letters, memos, reports, meeting agendas, data, etc.
Establish and maintain electronic and paper filing systems in support of the Loaned Executive program.
Input to and query campaign databases (ANDAR/CRM) as required.
Prepare and assemble materials for Loaned Executive meetings and other meetings of campaign volunteers and staff.
Prepare, assemble and maintain an inventory of campaign materials (collateral) used by Loaned Executives.
Prepare and maintain records relating to Loaned Executive assignments and campaign activities.
Schedule meetings and trainings. Provide administrative and logistical support as necessary.
Assist Program Coordinator and Speakers & Tours LE in coordinating the Speakers and Tours Program.
Prepare and input content for LE on-line communication page.
Assist with special projects as needed.

Job requirements:

Education:
High School graduate with additional administrative and word processing training

Experience:
Excellent typing of 50 wpm and word processing skills.
Expert in Microsoft Office applications and other applicable software, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Practical knowledge of professional administrative procedures.
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment required for this position.
Skilled in time management.
Two to three years administrative experience with a high level position.

Physical demands and work environment:
* Work is performed primarily in an office setting and while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, and demonstrate manual dexterity.
* Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) during the course of the workday.

Other:
Valid Arizona driver‚s license and proof of current automobile insurance.
Non-profit experience helpful.
Ability to adjust daily work schedule

This position is a Limited Tenure (under one year) position and is fulltime, non-exempt and not eligible for benefits. Start date is late June, 2011 through approximately December, 2011. Position could go longer dependent on business need. Rate of pay is $15.00 per hour.
